Tactical Iraqi

During my Spring 2007 semester I had the chance to work at Tactical Language and Training as an intern. I was given the opportunity to make real contributions to their game, which is a commercial success so far.
The game takes place in Iraqi and the missions contain no violence. Instead, players must guide their soldier avatar to successfully communicate with Iraqis in a variety of scenarios. Players communicate speaking Iraqi through a headset, and their speech is recognized by the game. In this way, players can have full voice conversations with the NPCs.
The game runs on the Unreal Engine. For this project I worked on various parts to improve stability, gameplay, load times, and add new features.
